(The studio)
Small studio,long view.
Mirsam means a drawing room — the place where things are planned before they are made.
We opened in 2014 in a warehouse in Al Quoz with two desks and one client. Twelve years later there are twenty-four of us, and the warehouse finally has walls.
We take on six projects at a time, so the people you meet in the first workshop are the people who ship your work. Designers sit next to developers; motion artists sit next to both.
Most of our clients are in the Gulf, some are in Europe and Asia, and nearly all of them have worked with us more than once.
(What we believe)
Four ruleswe keep.
Clarity first
If it needs explaining, it is not finished.
Arabic first
We design in Arabic and adapt to English, never the other way round.
Small teams
The people in the first meeting stay until launch day.
Built to last
We judge our work five years later, not five days later.
